Representatives from the Junior Auxiliary of Batesville attended the National Association of Junior Auxiliaries (NAJA) Annual Education Conference in Mobile, AL, April 30-May 2, 2010, where they gained valuable information and training related to their national charitable focus of “Healthy Children, Healthy Futures.”
At the AEC Conference, the Batesville chapter received three awards:
1 - The Efficiency Award 2 - The Public Relations/Finance Award for the 2009 Scramble with JA Golf Tournament, directed by Courtney Cox & Jenny Herron
3 - The Betty Robbins Volunteer of the Year Award honoring Mrs. Mary Lou Mitchell.

EFFICIENCY AWARD - The Executive Director of NAJA presents the Efficiency Award to chapters in recognition of punctuality and administrative excellence.
BETTY W. ROBBINS VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR AWARD- NAJA recognizes an individual Associate or Life members who epitomize the distinguished volunteer commitment of the late Betty Robbins, 1992-93 Association President.
PUBLIC RELATIONS/FINANCE AWARD - NAJA recognizes the Chapter(s) who have made an outstanding example of public relations in promoting a specific successful finance project, while simultaneously communicating the meaning of Junior Auxiliary.
