Scramble for JA Golf Tournament July 10, 2010 Panola Country Club
In continuing efforts to raise funds for the Junior Auxiliary purpose of providing for the needs of area children, the organization held its 2nd Annual 3-Person Scramble for JA charity golf tournament on July 10, 2010 at the Panola Country Club.
A beautiful day filled with competition in the air, teams of 3 dispersed out onto the course after a brief registration. Every few holes would hold a new game of chance - giving each participant an opportunity to contribute more toward the JA cause. Several refreshment stations were set up across the course, with JA members serving drinks and snacks.
After a great round of golf, the teams and a few guests gathered at the club house for Happy Hour where all were served drinks and hors d'oeuvres. The winners of the tournament were recognized with cash prizes and door prizes were awarded.
Truly a successful event, the Junior Auxiliary was able to raise $2400 that will go directly into the many service projects the organization has dedicated to serving within the community.
